Horizontal Panels

Horizontal Panels

New postby Bruce Ramsey on Wed Jun 16, 2021 6:22 pm

Seem to remember that Circuit breakers must be in a specific orientation such that Up is On and Down is Off. Therefore panels should not be installed in a horizontal orientation because half the breakers would not work in the above sequence. I am unable to find a specific cite in the NEC. Can you help me find a reference to support this idea? Thank you.
