AC condensate line not properly trap. 2"

The A/C condensate drain line is not trapped with a 2” positive trap pipe as required. A 2” positive p trap needs to be installed as required. The line is able t pull in unconditioned air without the trap and pest intrusion. §M307.2.5 Traps. Condensate drains shall be trapped as required by the equipment or appliance manufacturer. Do you have actual picture or illustration to what it look like?
Builder HVAC contractor has stated:
Drain runs through 4" pvc pipe under the house and terminates above grade. This constitutes proper code trapping of condensate.
